How to win

Reader,

TL;DR: This Friday, at 1pm I'm hosting a free Q&A answering your questions about getting leads, closing them, and scaling your business. If you wish to join us, join the free community here. I'll be going live inside it. If you’re planning to come but don’t know how to ask a question, I’ll show you how below.

How to get unstuck

When we see that profits have remained stagnant for two years in a row, your initial instinct isn't to roll up your sleeves ready for some hard work.

Instead we tend to seek new information. Well, at least the smart ones do. Because the smart ones realise if they knew how to bust the stagnation - they would have already.

It's why I've had a ten year career answering questions for business owners who are stuck getting leads, booking calls, making offers, closing sales, and building the ops to scale.

Sometimes you need a fluffy-haired, glasses-wearing, new-dad know-it-all to sprinkle some magic into your business.

A service that used to cost a pretty penny.

But from here on out, on the first Friday every month @1pm, you'll be able to ask me your questions on a live call inside the free community.

A handful of smart bunnies have got their questions in early. Questions such as:

  • "How do I get more clients who want to pay me vast amounts of money for what I do?"
  • "How would you recommend I build my email list without continuously being on the social media hamster wheel?"
  • "What call to action should I use on my upcoming direct mail campaign?"

If you want to join us, ask your questions, and secure the replay - you could (and should) join the free community here.

How to win

Most people don't know how to correctly identify constraints in their biz, ask questions about the constraint, or use regular Q&As to win.

So here's a quick guide.

To identify the biggest bottleneck in your business, ask yourself...

  1. Do you need more leads?
  2. Do you have enough leads, but not enough are booking calls?
  3. Do you have enough calls, but not enough are closing?
  4. Do you have enough sales, but they only buy once?
  5. Do you have too many new customers, and repeat customers creating capacity issues?

If none of the above are applicable. Congrats. Let me know, and I'll create a shrine in your honour.

If one or more are applicable. You must solve the one furthest towards the top of the list as that is your most pressing business constraint.

Congrats. You now know where to focus your time and attention.

Now what?

Ask me a question about your constraint.

You can quite literally ask : "How do I get more leads, Connor?"

Then attack that constraint using the advice I gave your for thirty days. Work on nothing else.

Then turn up to the next Q&A for accountability and re-orienteering

If you are struggling, if things aren't as rosy as you'd like, if things are tough - regardless if you're a start-up, or making tens of millions per year - It's because you are not aggressively, and sole-mindedly attacking the singular bottleneck in your business.

It really is this simple:

  • Identify your constraint using the questions above
  • Turn up to the Q&A, and get a clear answer about how to attack your constraint
  • Attack it for a month
  • Identify your constraint again, using the questions above
  • Turn up to the next QA with the results of the last thirty days of work
  • Ask another question about your constraint
  • Repeat until you get whatever it is you want

See you Friday @1pm.

Warmly,

Connor Benham.

P.S. For those already inside the community you can pre-submit your questions here. This will give you priority if you attend live, and give me the opportunity to ask clarifying questions in advance. If you can't make it live it means I will still answer it, and you can get your answer on the replay.

P.P.S. Some of you have asked about the tools I'm using to make all of this happen. There's two.

First is Skool. I believe with the rise of AI private communities will become more valuable, and I've chosen to host mine on skool for a number of reasons. You can get a free trial by clicking here, after that it's as little as $9 per month.

The second is Kit. They are the only email sending thing that allows unlimited sends up to 10,000 subs. And if you want to use their fancy automations etc, it's $39 per month. You can check the plans out here.

Both are so cheap, and good, it's absurd.

See you Friday @1pm.
